On this date 5 years ago, me and my bro @illmindproducer put aside the month of June and knocked out an EP known as "Live From The Tape Deck". In a little under 30 days, we made what XXL called a lyrical masterpiece, giving the lyrics an XXL rating. One of the funny unknown stories from the project is that, one of the biggest singles of my career, "Speakers On Blast", was born when I showed up to illmind's crib to work and he played a beat that tore the speakers apart. I heard it and, upon being floored, I wrote the song in about 25 mins. After we recorded it he was like "yo right before you got here, I was about to erase that beat. I didn't like it. Hahaha". Fast forward to November, I get a call from my man @ha22gs and he says "yo fif wanna talk to you, hold on", and @50cent got on the phone with me for 30 mins to discuss the record and my career moving forward. Tons of advice from the God ensued. Happy bday to #LFTTD and shouts to @druha and @duckdownmusic for letting me once again do whatever I wanted musically. When I get to do whatever I want, it be working. Ha.
