The third piece of Marvel’s The Avengers franchise will be split into two movies, Marvel President Kevin Feige said today during a presentation unveiling the latest in its superhero movie rollouts. Feige laid out the nine-film roadmap of Marvel’s Phase 3, which he promised would merge the earthbound and cosmic elements of the Marvel cinematic universe. That starts with Captain America 3: Civil War, which will be released May 6, 2016. The linchpin of the Marvel movies is Avengers. Feige said Avengers: Infinity War – Part I will be released on May 4, 2018, and Part II will follow May 3, 2019.
