Underground Hip-Hop grows stronger everyday. Homeboy Sandman, Skyzoo and The Kid Daytona bring authentic ideas and production to their sound. Standing out among the many MC's in the mix of underground artists are Blu And Exile who add a distinctive and personal touch.
The two released their first album in 2007 called "Below The Heavens". It was a breakout debut for the Southern California natives. "Below The Heavens" was a successful marriage of lyricist and producer. Features included singers Aloe Blacc, Miguel.
After a respected debut outing, Blu and Exile returned with their second album "Give Me My Flowers While I Can Still Smell Them". The Fat Beats release features fellow Cali MC Fashawn and Queens resident Homeboy Sandman. Blu And Exile make a tremendous leap forward with songs like "Money" in which Blu says "money makes the world go down the drain". Exiles sample heavy production makes "Give Me My Flowers While I Can Still Smell Them" equally as exceptional as "Below The Heavens.
